Rockwell Automation has introduced the latest addition to its Micro800™ controller lineup, the new Allen‑Bradley® Micro820® L20E controller. This latest offering comes with enhanced features that enable faster machine setup, improved connectivity, and smarter system integration.

The brand-new Allen‑Bradley® Micro820® L20E controllers deliver more powerful performance and richer connectivity capabilities within the same compact form factor. Designed to simplify integration and speed up commissioning, these controllers assist machine manufacturers in boosting operational efficiency and swiftly bringing their products to market.

Building on the existing LC20 controllers, the new L20E controllers boast a range of additional features. They excel in program execution, I/O response, and communication. With the ability to support up to four nodes of Class 1 implicit messaging, these new controllers facilitate more efficient communication links, enhancing real-time control and reliability across devices. Moreover, the modern USB Type C port streamlines the initial machine setup and configuration processes, helping to save engineering design time.

These latest microcontrollers are compatible with Connected Components Workbench™ software version 23 and FactoryTalk® Design Workbench™ software version 1 or higher. This compatibility allows users to leverage advanced features within an intuitive programming environment.
