March 31, 2025, Hannover, Germany – Industrial automation leader Rockwell Automation (NYSE: ROK) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) today announced a groundbreaking collaboration at Hannover Messe to accelerate manufacturing digital transformation. The partnership integrates Rockwell's operational technology (OT) expertise with AWS's cloud capabilities to deliver scalable industrial cloud solutions for key sectors including life sciences, automotive batteries, and CPG.
Three Technological Breakthroughs
The collaboration achieves unprecedented OT-Cloud convergence:
"Cloud-native industrial solutions are becoming critical as manufacturers face dual challenges of supply chain restructuring and talent shortages," said Nicole Denil, VP of Global Market Access at Rockwell Automation. "This alliance empowers customers to choose their preferred cloud while enjoying seamless edge-to-cloud intelligence."
Ecosystem Synergies
As a milestone, AWS joined Rockwell's PartnerNetwork™. Joint demonstrations at AWS booth (Hall 15, D76) feature:
"This isn't just technology stacking—we're reinventing industrial operations with cloud-native architecture," emphasized Ozgur Tohumcu, AWS GM for Automotive & Manufacturing. "We're transforming data into productivity across efficiency, agility and sustainability."
Additional FactoryTalk® Hub solutions will launch on AWS Marketplace in 2025. The collaboration is projected to halve digital transformation timelines for global manufacturers, particularly in high-growth sectors like battery and pharma.
