CIIE Focuses on Global Energy Transition and Cooperation

On November 4, the Seventh China International Import Expo (CIIE) opened grandly in Shanghai, with the Sinopec Theme Forum and the Sinopec Trading Delegation Signing Ceremony becoming a highlight of great interest. With the theme of "Building Global Energy Partnerships," the forum brought together 38 partner companies from 18 countries and regions worldwide to jointly explore new paths for global energy transition, energy cooperation, and green and low-carbon development. Sinopec, as the host, leveraged the CIIE as an international exchange platform to actively fulfill the concept of "making the Chinese market a world market, a shared market, and a market for everyone," promoting international energy cooperation and exchanges.

Yokogawa and Sinopec Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

At the signing ceremony, Sinopec signed procurement agreements with multiple partner companies, covering 10 categories and 27 types of products including crude oil, chemicals, equipment, materials, and consumer goods, with a total signing amount of up to USD 40.9 billion. Among them, Yokogawa, as a long-term partner and supplier of Sinopec, was invited to participate in the forum and signing ceremony and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Sinopec. Since the first CIIE in 2018, Yokogawa has participated in the CIIE for seven consecutive years in various forms, deepening its cooperation with Sinopec.
