Bently Nevada Bently 1900 monitors mechanically protect selected machines or monitoring points in a simple, cost-effective way. They are designed to work as independent devices or in conjunction with our trendmaster Pro online condition monitoring system.

Bently 1900/65 vibration monitor is a mechanical vibration monitor designed by Bently company in the United States to continuously monitor and protect equipment used in many industries and occasions.

 

Bently Nevada 1900/65A series monitoring instruments are designed to provide low-cost applications and multi-channel monitoring functions for basic and non critical (BOP) equipment. These assets require continuous mechanical protection, but complex monitoring systems for critical turbomachinery such as 3500 systems cannot achieve satisfactory returns. 1900/65a also adds support for RTD type temperature sensors. It realizes economical online installation through 232 or 485 interfaces. The movement function of parts reduces the movement of unwanted parts, and has flexible dynamic channels, which can configure parameters such as channel speed and vibration position.

 

These self-contained monitors can be designed to deal with important asset equipment and auxiliary equipment that need continuous mechanical protection, but they cannot meet the cost of a rack based monitoring system as large and complex as the 3500 series. 1900 monitors mechanically protect selected machines or monitoring points in a simple way. They are designed to work as separate devices or in conjunction with our trendmaster Pro online condition monitoring system.

 

The low-cost 1900/65 is an ideal solution for those machines and processes that need continuous monitoring and protection, but the cost of using traditional monitors is too high. It is better used in steam turbines, fans, compressors, water pumps and other equipment in power plants, chemical plants, steel plants and other enterprises. 1900/65 provides four vibration inputs and four temperature inputs. Each vibration input can be configured through software to support 2-wire and 3-wire acceleration, velocity or displacement sensors. Temperature input supports e, J, K and T-type thermocouples. Provide six relay outputs and four 4-20 mA recorder outputs.

The configuration monitor is defined by the configuration file created by the software of the laptop or PC, and the file is downloaded to the monitor through the built-in Ethernet connection. The configuration information can be stored in nonvolatile memory for a long time and can be uploaded to PC for modification.

For important asset equipment and auxiliary equipment, 1900/65A is designed to provide affordable and independent multi-channel monitoring for assets that require continuous mechanical protection but cannot be used for large and complex monitoring system costs of key turbomachinery such as 3500 series. The 1900/65a provides additional support for thermal resistance (RTD) temperature sensors, low-cost online installation via 232 or 485 interfaces, trip multiply functions that reduce machine tripping, and flexible dynamic channels configured for speed or vibration positions.

 

This hardware kit provides customers with the components they need to enable the output connection from the 1900/65a universal device monitor to system 1 through the trendmaster dynamic scanning module (DSM) interface. This is a way to provide system 1 diagnostic optimization and solutions for customers' general equipment monitoring systems.

 

Describe

The universal device monitor 1900 / 65A is designed to continuously protect devices used in a variety of applications and industries. The low cost of display makes it a solution for general machines and processes, which can benefit from continuous monitoring and protection.

 

Input

The 1900 / 65A provides four sensor inputs and four temperature inputs. The software can configure each sensor input to support 2-wire and 3-wire accelerometers, speed sensors or proximity sensors. Each temperature input supports E-type, J-type, K-type and T-type thermocouples, as well as 2-wire or 3-wire RTDS.

 

Output

1900 / 65A provides six relay outputs, four 4-20mA recorder outputs and a buffered output. The user can use the 1900 configuration software to configure the relay contacts to open or close according to the OK, alert and danger states of the channel or channel combination, and can provide the data of variables from different channels on the recorder output. Buffered outputs provide a signal for each sensor input.

 

The Modbus gateway option allows the monitor to provide static variables, status, time and date information directly to the Modbus client, including distributed control system (DCS), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system, programmable logic controller (PLC) or system1  software. The monitor uses counters and MODBUS client / master time references to generate time and date information. Users can upgrade the display by ordering 1900/01 communication (see the "ordering information" section) instead of using MODBUS gateway. The 1900 / 65A supports Modbus communication over Ethernet and a software configurable RS232 / 485 serial port.

 

Configuration

The user defines monitor operation and MODBUS gateway register mapping by using software running on a laptop or PC to create a configuration file and download the file to the monitor through the built-in Ethernet connection. The 1900 / 65A stores the configuration information in the nonvolatile memory for a long time, and can upload this information to the PC for modification.

 

Display module

The 1900 / 65A supports optional display / keyboard to view channel information or make minor configuration changes. This allows the 1900 / 65A to run as a separate package. If necessary, the user can install the monitor 75 meters (250 feet) away from the display module.
