The Allen-Bradley 1746-A10 is a modular chassis used with the SLC 500 system. The 1746-A10 has 10 slots for mounting tabs. Its modular nature helps to configure the system depending on its size. Users can shrink or expand the system.The grounding cable should be 14 AWG in size. When connecting to the ground bus, use a 10 AWG copper wire to connect each chassis and use a steel enclosure to prevent EMI interference. To minimize the dependence on the viewing window hinges for the electrical contact between the door and the enclosure, install a dedicated bonding wire.
