The Allen-Bradley 1756-RM is a ControlLogix enhanced redundancy module. It is part of the Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) which is used to implement controller redundancy.The 1756-RM has been released as Series A and B. Series is basically an enhancement of the previous series however, a 1756-RM with different series can co-exist in one redundant configuration. It is highly recommended to have the same series installed to achieve maximum operability of the redundancy setup.
